Who can use CampusCrush

CampusCrush is for people who are 18 or older and currently enrolled at or affiliated with a participating college or university. You must verify your account with a valid school email address. You may only have one account. We may verify your eligibility at any time and remove accounts that don't meet these requirements.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for everything that happens on your account. Please provide accurate information. Do not share, sell, or transfer your account to anyone else.

Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, bio, and messages you create. By posting them, you grant CampusCrush a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, and display that content solely to operate the service. That license ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we must keep material for the safety reasons described in our Privacy Policy.

How you must behave

You agree to follow our Community Guidelines. In short: no harassment, no hate speech, no nudity or sexually explicit content, no impersonation, no spam or solicitation, no sharing others' private information, and no illegal activity.

Safety — please read this

CampusCrush verifies that users have a valid school email address. We do not conduct criminal background checks, identity verification beyond school email, or any other screening of users. Verification of a school email does not mean a person is safe, honest, or who they claim to be.

You are solely responsible for your own safety and for your interactions with other users, both in the app and in person. Be careful: meet in public, tell a friend where you're going, and trust your instincts. CampusCrush is not responsible for the conduct of any user, online or offline.

Reporting and enforcement

Every profile and chat has report and block options. We review reports and may warn, restrict, suspend, or permanently remove accounts. Serious violations result in immediate removal. We cooperate with law enforcement where required by law.

Ending your account

You may delete your account at any time from Settings inside the app. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines, or where required for safety or legal reasons.

Paid features

CampusCrush is currently free. If we introduce paid features or subscriptions in the future, pricing and terms will be shown before any purchase. Purchases made through the App Store are subject to Apple's terms and refund policies.

The service is provided as-is

We work hard to keep CampusCrush running well, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will result in any particular match or outcome. The service is provided as-is and as-available.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CampusCrush and Campus Crush, Inc. are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the conduct of other users.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in the app or by email. Continued use of CampusCrush means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, where Campus Crush, Inc. is incorporated, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
