The rules that keep CampusCrush safe. Breaking them gets you removed.
Be a real student
Every account is verified with a real school email. One account per person. No impersonating anyone else, no fake profiles, no photos that aren't you. Misrepresenting who you are is grounds for immediate removal.
18+ only
CampusCrush is strictly for people 18 and older. Accounts found to belong to anyone under 18 are removed immediately and permanently.
What's not allowed
- Harassment, threats, or intimidation of any kind
- Hate speech or slurs targeting anyone
- Nudity or sexually explicit photos
- Sexual content involving minors, which we report to authorities
- Sharing someone else's private information or photos without consent
- Solicitation, spam, scams, or promoting other services
- Violence or threats of violence
- Content promoting self-harm or illegal activity
Consent comes first
Matching is not consent. No means no, both in the app and off it. Pressuring, coercing, or repeatedly contacting someone who has stopped responding is a violation. If someone unmatches or blocks you, that is the end of the conversation.
How to report
Every profile and every chat has a report option in the app. Tap the menu on a profile card or the header in a chat, choose a reason, and add detail if you want. Reporting someone also blocks them immediately so they disappear from your view. We review every report within 24 hours.
What happens when you're reported
Our team reviews reports against these guidelines. Depending on severity we may issue a warning, restrict features, or permanently remove the account. Serious violations result in immediate removal without warning, and we cooperate with law enforcement where required. Reports are confidential — the person you report is not told who reported them.
Blocking
You can block anyone at any time from their profile or your chat. Blocking is instant and mutual: you disappear from each other's decks and neither can contact the other.
